history tour 2

on the 15th of may 2010, we set off from the wambana campus and went to the museum in the town of tent. this was different to others because moff had a key to get in and there was no one inside to show us around or to keep secure. inside was very interesting with facts and memorabilia of swords, cooking utensils, old boxes and brands and engineering equipment. i discovered three very interesting things about the museum's contents and the museum itself. the museum used to be the second police station ever to be built in south australia. also the last cavalry charge in history was done by the australian cavalry against the turks in egypt at bashiba. it was the last and affective charge with it ending in 40 minutes. the third and final thing i learnt was that the policemen back then were troopers and soldiers.

after that we left the museum and drove onward to a cemetary which had bodies from 1878. the percentage of at least 50-60% and we discovered some epitah's. we noticed a few metres away from the graves there was one that was all alone. we found out that it was the grave of a bastard whos parents wern't married and he was a sinner.
the next place we went was a farm called sandlewood park where a family used to live but we were told that there we ferrels living there. i was scared and i thought that we were going to be malled by them. later i calmed down later and found out that this place was used for horses to conduct sexual intercourse in a mounting yard. i discovered that horses are so aggresive that the male can kill the female not by sex but by ripping the females neck off.

we left the farm without any problems learning about the people who lived there and how to pleasure a horse where we went onto yorke town where i discovered something had happened to my booklet. i was worried until i found out i put it in someone elses bag we brought ice coffee and left. we went passed a salt water lake which is used to get table salt. the formula for salt is sodium clorite and NaCl. i really enjoyed the second history tour more than the first one because i learnt a lot about the australian soldiers in world war 1 and 2 so i enjoyed the museum the most.
